you put up another wall.
it surrounds me.
from the wall grows a roof.
the walls have become a box.
you put me in a box.
i push the walls
to their breaking point,
just like they did to me.
i scream.
I've made a crack.
it gets bigger.
i hit,
i scratch,
my crack splits into three.
i kick,
i punch,
my crack becomes a hole.
my barriers crash
around me.
my box turns to rubble.
I have broken my box.
For one moment,
I am happy,
but you're building another one
right behind it.
i can't stop.
if i do,
my truth,
our truth will die.
this box wants us to be generic,
but we're not.
how could we be?
we are
us.
Tomorrow, you will tell me we did it yesterday.
Yesterday, you told me we'll do it tomorrow.
We didn't do it today.
Shit.
Why is that?
Are you scared?
Yes, you are.
This sounds like a children's book.
Shit.
