Laughing through blonde curtains
Rippling transparent through my anatomy
Pastel eyeshadow could never cloud my judgement
Thank you for asking.
But you didn’t! Which is funny
A subtle chuckle as I travel through my daylight
The clouds never daring to block the path of light
Not on this day. This day is special
Fluttering eyelashes make me blush
And rosy cheeks through the mirror make
My eyes glimmer
As I imagine your eyes meeting mine.
And walking on the sidewalk
Makes me think of spring showers and
Waterfalls
And
Clouds dare to block the path of light
They roll over in billowing shapes and shades
Of a dull grey.
The thunder strikes the cheery mood
And the bus stop seems a dreary place.
